    General rules

    • Follow instructions on this page, especially the safety rules.
    • Report any problems with the machines or anything else in the space (see Contact information).
    • Don't repair or take apart the machines unless you have discussed this with personnel.
    • Don't leave personal belongings out in the space. If you have to leave something in the room put it in the cupboards underneath the central table and mark it. Staff will throw away belongings including tools and materials if left unattended. The space will be cleaned out every summer (after advance warning on the mail list).
    • Don't bring food into the space and don't throw away food waste in the bins in the space. This is to make the space less messy and to avoid bad smells given that the bins are not emptied on a regular schedule.
    • Wear shoe protection when working with clay since we don't want to inconvenience the cleaning staff with clay residue in the corridor.
    • Read e-mails from the makerspace mail list. Failure to respond to requests for replies might lead to loss of access to the space.

Access is given to students and staff that request it, have read the instructions and safety rules on this page and has had an intro by one of the Makerspace staff. Please fill out this form set this up (new tab).

Access will be lost if you are found not following these rules, the safety rules or the instructions below.
