What about Anshelm?
Klas Anshelm (1914–1980) was an architect and, since 1973, an honorary doctor at LTH. The son of an engineer, Anshelm trained as an architect at Chalmers University.
When he established his own architectural practice in Lund in 1947, he adopted a modern, function-driven style characterized by brick and concrete. In the late 1950’s he was tasked with the rapid construction of a new technical college in Lund.
The Swedish state became a significant patron, awarding him major projects at the universities of Lund and Gothenburg.
This photo exhibition was curated by architect Per Qvarnström, a former student of the school. Qvarnström has organized several exhibitions and written a book on Klas Anshelm's work.
